thehistoryofliberty:

acesas.
é a minha própria vida

Existem…

A year ago I was diagnosed with anorexia, and when I remember that last year, starts to play a movie in my head. Most people think of eating disorders just has a problem in which a person loses weight and don’t want to eat (yes, that’s true, but it’s just the tip of the iceberg). Eating disorders are about despersonalize, stop being someone and be guided only by numbers, calculations, calories. In the beggining you want a nice body but in the end you don’t even know why are you keep doing it. My brain turned into a calculator. I stopped doing everything that I loved. I stopped listening to music cause it doesn’t burn calories. I stopped watching movies for de same reason. I stopped comunnicating with the world and walked away from all. So, I became into a nothing. Choose recovery was the best thing I have ever done. It’s not easy, and sometimes it feels like you’re walking in a tightrope, but it’s worth. My parents says that this year was a lost year for me, but the truth is that was the best year, cause I finally found the true love, not for someone, but for life and for the universe. Choose recovery.
